Our Aims (Current and Future)
- To maintain the current library model
- Continue with and enhance current relationships with local primary schools
- Continue to be an outlet for Council services
- Provide the local community with an information centre for all their Council services
- Develop links with other community libraries
- Use of the Library Space
- Hire the library space to community groups and stakeholders
- Provide a venue for both Adult and Children’s events
- Specialised Adult events
- Introduce themed evenings for young adults
- Create a Community Cinema & Club
- Provide a coffee shop
- Hot and cold refreshments and home-made cakes and sundries
- Provide local residents with an essentials food ordering service
- Greetings cards & stationery
- Create a study zone for students at peak exam times
